The next part is a little complicated. You have to pry the window open slightly so you can slip the straightened hanger into the tiny opening. Finally, use the hooked part to pull the locking pin and unlock the car door.

Enter From the Trunk

In older car models with a manual locking system, the trunk usually remains accessible even if the other doors are locked. If this is the case, then there’s a chance you can unlock the rear doors, but it might not be so easy.

Locate and release the emergency trunk cord. Doing this will unlock the back seats, making them easier to push forward. This gives you enough space to squeeze your hand through and reach for the rear door. Then, you can simply lift the locking pin to unlock the door manually.
